Nvidia: OEMs to Blame for Re-branding GPUs | Checking Together
by Favsky
More recently, the GeForce 300-series GPUs with right appeared on the Nvidia site. Although NVIDIA has noted that the 400 cards of aircraft, will be held later GF100 Fermi technology, the new 300-card appeared equally calmly without any show - have qualified because they had adopted the brand means for OEMs.
Rebranding What's with that? Nvidia said to Bit-Tech that is something that OEMs Invented in categorization to keep their sheets looking today and caustic soda. The party also said that rebranding is something he begs on the PC OEM bulk, but did not specify the predetermined marks.
Nvidia said that the products are not renamed likely to publish in detail the interval, so that buying a GPU adherent will not face rebrands confusing. Those who buy a PC has concluded, however, could get an older technology with a new name.
On board sound to HDMI card and AGP DVI card - The Green Button

Movables morning everybody!
I'm in the deal with of turning a Dell Optiplex GX260 (skimpy raise piece) computer into a HTPC with MCE 2005. It's now got a 2.4ghz processor, a gig and a half of RAM, and a 320 gig HD. So basically I'm looking for recommendation on what graphics card to use to unite to my marvellous new telly. I realise that I very likely don't have much of a voice settled that there's only a euphonious mignonne low use break present, and that I can't put in a PCI-E card.
I was also wondering about whether to try and get a HDMI card or a DVI card. As far as I'm au fait (again though, I'm...
The solitary open PCI x16 slot is clutter-free, however, and wiring isn't an culmination here (presumably, there's just no room to do a sloppy wiring job).
The card can be against to ingest a dual-link DVI, DVI-A, DVI-D, HDMI or analog component video documentation to a PC or server through one four-lane PCI Express slot

I force they would've just given me a replacement motherboard. Oh well.
